Original Title: Desciende, río invisible
Two old friends set off on an improvised journey to a destination whose location they do not know, but which is inevitable. The celebration of friendship as the point of departure of the story turns into a challenge and, at the same time, into an enigma that unravels, bit by bit, as the protagonists approach the end of their voyage. Once they reach their goal, they – like the warriors of old – have to face up to a final and decisive test which implies the decision to cross the human moral frontier.
«An excellent novel. It leaves far behind the usual topics of contemporary Spanish narrative».
Alfred García, El Periódico
«A short text, concentrated and well defined, constructed like a spiral that is under increasing tension».
José Antonio Ugalde, El País
«When you get to the end of this book, you will feel deeply moved».
Pablo Corbalán, El Mundo
