Neus Galí taught in the Humanities Faculty of the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, where she gave classes in Classical culture, mythology and Latin. In the field of Hellenic studies, she worked on the oral and the written tradition, poetics and philosophy. She translated and edited Aurea Dicta. Sayings and Proverbs of the Classical World (1987). Her last book was Silent Poetry, Painting that Speaks (Acantilado, 1999).
